About Us

Our Story

At K.I.D.S. we educate and care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our family childcare environment allows us to provide your child with the specialized love and attention they deserve. We believe that children learn through play and to enhance that theory we utilize The Creative Curriculum. We are a STAR 4 facility, CCIS affiliated, DHS certified and a PHL PreK vendor.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide your child with the environment and tools needed to inspire them to learn while having fun is our ultimate goal. Our children learn through exploration and hands on activities; we feel that this process lends itself to be more flexible because our lesson our geared to the child and making their experiences enjoyable.

Meet our Founder

Kelley Burnett founded Kelley's Inspirational Daycare Services, also known as K.I.D.S, in 2008 in the Northwood community. Kelley has aways been very passionate about children and the way they learn. She has earned two master's degrees in education and is certified in Infant and Toddler Mental Health, IMTH.

Our parents' participation

Come and share your specialty!

K.I.D.S is a very family oriented environment and because of this we enjoy when parents participate in daily activities and trips. Parents can come and showcase a specialty, read a story during circle or help us to create a fantastic snack or meal. Our goal is to meld the K.I.D.S. family with yours; it is a much more enjoyable experience for children when we work as a cohesive unit.
